I cared for my Mother who lived with me and had dementia and COPD. I have also cared for a family friend who could no longer take care of his basic care. I have spent time with him in the assisted living to give him personal care and company. I also stayed at the hospital with him to provide the assurance that he was being cared for and a familiar face was there. I know how important good care is to the person as well as the family. I have been on both sides.
