From 2018-2020, I volunteered with a non-profit hospice in Orlando, FL. My responsibilities varied with each individual's needs but most of my time was spent keeping the patients company. Many times this meant simply watching their favorite show or listening to their stories. Other times, I helped prepare meals, ensured they took their medications, did activities with them such as going on walks or running errands. Overall, I will maintain schedules as needed and work with your family to ensure your loved one/yourself is being cared for properly.
