As a kid I liked hanging around the adults, I was called an old-soul a lot. I’ve since learned that I appreciate and respect the wisdom and history they have. I exhibit exceptional listening skills, high patience, and the desire to help make life a little more gentle for everyone involved.
Caring for someone who’s aging can be a difficult task mentally and physically. It’s okay to get help! You can’t do everything and you can’t always be there 100% of the time. Now, you can make sure they’re not alone. I can help fill in with conversation/entertainment, cleaning, cooking and feeding, medication reminders and management, exercise and stretching, and answering that same question for the tenth time by noon!
I also offer virtual sitting and companionship services at a discounted rate. This is a perfect option for anyone that is hesitant of someone in their home and/or is someone who needs mental stimulation and someone to talk to. This can help with depression, anxiety, and feelings of loneliness that a lot of elderly people experience while being an affordable and flexible choice. Voice calls, video calls, and sittings through video are not great options for anyone who needs hands on help or is at high risk for medical emergencies.
