I started my job back while I was in high school that was my ninth grade year when i realized that I LOVE working with the elderly people. I didn't take it up in school but I did have a job in the nursing home while I was in school the nursing home was West port Rehabilitation Center I was a wing helper I made beds , passed trays , and helped the Cna's with whatever they needed me to do. I later went on to pursue my career in nursing I am in the process of getting my cna license right now . I do work as a caregiver/cna i just recently came from Chesterfield working with families and helping them in their homes but i live in Richmond and looking for something closer to home. I enjoy my job i enjoy working with my residents and taking the time to get to know them , cooking for them ,and being their companion i feel like its my duty because they are up in age and cant really do for themselves . I look at my residents as family treat them how you would want someone to treat your parents or whomever. I have more than five year experience and my mom also is a nurse so I've learned and know a lot of things. I love my job and i am a very outgoing person and you can count on me. Very dependable
