I currently work with a 96 year old woman at her home. I am with her every Friday. Before her, I had a 94 year old client who lived at WCBR in the Alzheimer's unit. I was with her 2 days per week. For both clients, I was/am available to take them to doctor's appointments, grocery shopping, out to breakfast/lunch, and just be a companion and spend time with them. I am not a CNA, only a companion.
I enjoy spending time with my clients, knowing I am making a difference in their daily lives. Knowing that I have made them happy makes me happy.
