Eight years ago, my grandma was diagnosed with cancer. Throughout her journey, I encountered many people who seems to share the same love for my grandma as I did although they knew little to nothing about her. It is truly a humbling experience to see the love and passion someone can have for helping others and see the difference it makes in the lives of those who are the family and friends of the one being taken care of. My previous work as an Admissions Coordinator in a nursing home has taught me even more about the love I have for the care taking of those in need. While I am not majoring in this area of healthcare, I would love the opportunity to make a difference and change the lives of others as I have had done for me.
