Hello,
My name is Sam Perez and I have been a companion for many elderly over the years. I started out caring for my own elderly parents, and then my mentors are also elderly so I would help them with groceries, appointments etc. As a nanny I came across a position where I also needed to care for a woman with early stages of dementia and I honestly fell in love with that portion of the job. She was so kind and we always had great conversation. I had to make her meals and help her work. I gave her, her meds (usually mixed in her meals) and kept track of her bathroom habits. I had to move otherwise I would still be helping her today. I would love to continue as a companion for someone else.
