Hi, my name is Rachel. I have been a certified nursing assistant for two years now. I enjoy being able to see my clients have fun and grow in all aspects of their lives. It puts a smile on my face to be able to teach them something and see them accomplish it for themselves. I became a certified nursing aide to work with my brother who has autism and then I started working with other individuals. I have been around people with disabilities a lot in my life. I believe people with disabilities are not missing anything but that they see life in ways that are even more beautiful. They can teach us things. To smile everyday, to enjoy the little things in life. As a care companion you should see the person not the disability. I have had training for my CNA license and I also have a infants through adults CPR license. I am a very creative person and come up with a variety of fun activities and crafts for your children to enjoy. My creativity also comes in handy when a problem arises. I am a fast problem solver. I am a very attentive and caring person. I will always be there to brighten the day. I believe when your at work you should be there to do the job. I believe you should always be on time to work if not five minutes early.
