I have always had a deep commitment to supporting individuals in need of companionship and consider myself experienced, compassionate, and I have had a desire to be a caregiver and have been pulled towards this since the young age of 12. I accompanied my mother to assist her aunt in an assisted living facility. This experience allowed me to form meaningful connections with the residents, and our bond inspired me to continue visiting them on my own starting at 16. Although I never received formal compensation for my efforts, I dedicated my time weekly to care for the residents by bringing them groceries and fulfilling their various needs.
While I may not have specialized training beyond my CPR and First Aid certifications, I possess strong interpersonal skills and a genuine friendly demeanor. I am capable, experienced, and pride myself on my capability to connect with and support the elderly, and I am passionate about being a positive presence in their lives.
