I live and breath caregiving. From being a wife of 23 years and a mom of 2 young adults to being a server of 25 years to being a senior care giver of 6 years.

Everything I do is in service to others to make their life better. It is the most rewarding thing to see that I helped make someone smile, bring comfort, or relieved their worries.

I have never doubted my success in this area of my life. The results are seen for themselves.

Many years ago I started senior caregiving with my grandmother. She was nearly bed bound and on hospice. At that time I spent a 48 hour shift, and took care of all the major household decisions and scheduling. She lived for 3 wonderful years. I didn't pick up senior care again until about 3 years ago. I currently do respite care 1 to 2 days a week for a 84 year old gentleman who lives with his son. Hours and days are flexible with him so I can find another senior to help.

Recently I moved and had to let go of my other job as a server do to the hour commute each way. I believe this was a blessing as it opened up the time to pursue what I enjoy most - senior care giving.
