Stacy’s Bio
I became a caregiver after completing school to become a Certified Medical Assistant and discovering that I had a strong desire to build more meaningful relationships with the people I interacted with, not available to me in a clinical setting. In such a setting I was feeling rushed and I knew my skills and talents weren't being utilized to their maximum potential.
I have always excelled in providing a warm and loving environment for my family and those around me. Caregiving closely mirrored the abilities and values I have as an individual and has provided for such a rewarding experience. I find it gratifying to bring a smile to the face of the clients that I am working with and it brings me happiness to know I am enhancing the day of another individual. When challenges arise, I am able to come up with solutions quickly and can diffuse difficult situations with tact.
I have a heightened awareness of how important it is to listen to our older and aging generations. I make every effort to show the clients I care for that they are my family and will always be treated as such with; respect, compassion and dignity.
I can provide all the ADL assistance a client requires and am also able to provide additional services such as; meal prep with attention dietary restrictions, light housekeeping, bill paying and budgeting help, medical appointment transport and follow-up and activity planning.
I look forward to many more years in the field and eventually moving into hospice work.
