I have 6+ years working as a CNA and in home care aide, this includes hospise and alzheimer/dementia care. I am currently pursuing my RN and have 200+ hours working in different medical specialties from day surgery, to pediatrics, ICU, and emergency room. I am about ready to test for my LPN. Your child or loved one is in good hands with me. Additionally I have EXTENSIVE experience with children of all ages. As the youngest of 6 children with 17 nieces and nephews I have more time under my belt one on one with kids than I could count. I regularly have my almost 2 year old nephew who has all the spunk, curiositz, and mischief in the work. I can't have children and instead find spending time with my nieces and nephews and friends children to fill that gap. As a big kid I'm considered the fun aunt who will play and have fun, but sets clear boundaries, and treats them like little humans (example explaining why I say no or why something is good or bad, the effects of their choices and actions) in an age appropriate fashion. Generally children go back to their parent a bit more behaved and having learned new skills or acceptable behavior patterns. Every child is different, and their are no bad kids, just different ways of processing and learning about their world.
