Caregiving feels natural to me. I genuinely enjoy being someone families can trust to keep their loved ones safe, comfortable, and emotionally supported. Working in memory care has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and kindness, and I bring that same energy into every caregiving role. Whether I’m helping with daily routines, providing companionship, or creating a calm and positive environment, I find deep meaning in being someone others can rely on.
I have four years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant, primarily working with seniors in memory care. I support individuals with daily living, safety, hygiene, mobility, and emotional well-being. Because I work with people who have dementia and cognitive impairments, I am highly experienced with redirection, de-escalation, routine-based care, and understanding non-verbal cues. I assist with bathing, dressing, meals, transfers, and companionship, and I am trained to notice changes in mood, behavior, or physical condition so concerns can be addressed early.
My training includes safety awareness, infection control, hygiene and personal care, fall prevention, and emotional support. I am patient, observant, and gentle, especially when someone is feeling confused, anxious, or overstimulated. I am skilled at following care plans and routines, preparing and assisting with meals, providing medication reminders when allowed, and keeping people comfortable, engaged, and supported. I’m also very good at reading body language and moods, which helps me anticipate needs before they become problems. Families can trust that I take safety, dignity, and compassion seriously in everything I do.
