Hello! I am a 21 y/o soon to be student and am set to start attending college this fall in order to acquire my RN license. I've worked in the field of caregiving for almost 2 years, primarily with seniors and disabled adults. My time in this field has been mostly assisted living and in home support. I have had some experience in a facility setting as well. I believe I have value for this job because I have been working in home with clients doing tasks such as: meal prepping, assisting in the bathroom and bathing, money management, supporting clients in the community, passing meds amongst other things. I have started looking here because while I love my job and the clients I support, it’s difficult to maintain a consistent work-life balance due to staff shortages demanding loads of OT and shifts in schedule. That being said I would like to work for a family who’s willing to be somewhat flexible once I start school and who can provide a consistent schedule. Thank you.
