I have been a CNA in the state of Washington since August 2014. I have worked in hospitals, in home care, adult family homes, long term care, and assisted living. I am nursing delegated to handle medications, including diabetes-related medications. I am also certified in dementia, mental health, long term care, and more.
I enjoy working as a caregiver because I love seeing people smile from something I did for them. It's hard for people to ask for help sometimes and because of my experience with many people, it's easy for me to read cues that someone is in need without them explicitly asking.
