I have been a caregiver since 1987, I started as a CNA, worked in Republic Washington at Republic Hospital, worked as a caregiver for an agency Beneficial off & on, in the meantime I became a Parapro at Republic Hospital, due to the death of our Son in 2020 wasn't able to pass the Parapro test ,therefore they let me go, went back to work for Beneficial Homecare until 2022& became a private caregiver, unfortunately my Beautiful Lady passed away May 29th. I enjoy working with the elderly as I love to hear their stories, also enjoy seeing them progress from hospital to home. You could never be sorry for helping the elderly, I also worked with special needs kiddos in Republic school district, absolutely love working with any age as I am patient, caring, dependent, and have empathy which is so different than sympathy. I also worked in Nursing homes but due to so much lifting, companion care would be ideal.
