Cassie’s Bio
Hello, All! My name is Cassie. I currently work remotely for a software company based in Wisconsin, but unfortunately, I am a contractor, and with boss has accepted a new position and having been there for over two years, my position will no longer be needed. Feel free to find me on LinkedIn: www.linkedin.com/in/cassandrabuse
I live in Mira Mesa. I am available to work some weekends, with advance notice.
A little about me, I got my BS in Biotechnology with a minor in Chemistry. I love science and originally wanted to be a doctor, so I do have experience in patient care and have been certified in CPR and First Aid. I changed my mind and have been looking to go back to school to get a graduate degree. I have experience in tutoring, especially in the maths and sciences. In my free time I love to read, paint or draw, and go camping/hiking/to the beach - anything outdoors. I am happy to help with house chores and meal prep - I'm a pretty decent cook. I have a clean titled 2013 Subaru Outback (3 seats in back and one passenger seat up front) and a clean driving record and background.
As far as past experience with being a care companion, I was trained as a Clinical Care Extender at the Citrus Valley Hospitals where I volunteered during college. We were trained to assist nurses with various tasks that are similar to the tasks carried out by CNA's (just no blood involved, though I have no problem assisting with any blood or dressing changes, etc). We also did extensive work with Patient Experience where we would comfort and spend time with the patients in the hospital to ensure their maximum comfort and to keep them company. Last year, I nannied for a family with a 20 month old girl who is now 3! (TIME FLIES!) I ran errands, cleaned around the house, helped with the pets, and took her on outings.
