Hi my name is Gia, I'm 20yrs old and am going to school to become a fashion designer. I've been taking are of my elderly grandma for years now. She is 90 years old, with multiple health problems such as MSA, dementia, vascular disease, and is wheel chair bound. While take care of her I learned how to do an array of different thinks, such as wound care, washing, changing her depends, transferring her (from chair, bed, toilet, car, etc). I also am responsible for her personal grooming and meals. I prepare her breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks in between. Monitors her blood pressure, pulse and helps her take prescribed medication on designated time. Encourage everyday activities, keeping in accordance with the her exercises regiment. Do light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dish washing, etc. Provide conversation and companionship in a respectful and professional manner.
