I am a current nursing student and have had clinical experience in long term care facilities and caring for individuals in the geriatric population. I have cared for my grandma as well as my grandpa as they were recovering from surgery. As well as that, I have volunteered at St. Lukes Rehabilitation Center and have had experiences there with the geriatric population who were recovering from a stroke.
