Hello! My name is Maddie, I am 21 years old and i'm currently going to school at UWM for graphic design. I am CPR certified, a non-smoker as well as a clean driving record. My last few summers have been spent in the company of my Grandma who recently left us at age 95. We played cards, talked about her childhood, watch cooking shows, and giggled like teenagers. Even though she was mostly unaware she had mid-to-late stage dementia, she enjoyed our time together and so did I. My aunts and uncles were so happy and relieved that someone they trusted could spend the days watching after her. As a college student, I was happy to find such a rewarding way to spend my summer.
That's why I am looking for another companion to spend time with. Maybe your mother or father needs companionship during the day while you work. Maybe you want a responsible and caring person around who can make sure he or she is safe and sound. Maybe you want some new and positive energy around your mother or father. Maybe they do too!
No matter the reason, my joy comes from keeping your loved one safe and happy. I can also prepare meals, do light housework, and make sure medications are taken as directed. I can monitor or screen phone calls, answer or ignore unexpected knocks on the door, or perform any other practical, non-medical functions necessary to help you and your loved one. My specialty is kindness, care, and companionship. I do not offer or advertise myself as a medical professional. Aside from emergencies, if your loved one needs assistance with anything around the house, outside, or in the bathroom, that will be provided.
