I have worked with one child on the autism spectrum for about 6 or so years. I took care of the child while the mother was at work. I really enjoyed doing this because I felt like I was making a difference for the child and helping out the parent so she was able to care and provide for her child. I am currently a behavioral technician therapist for Family Path LLC. Working with 4 different kids on the autism spectrum. I am very patient with each child and to make it as fun as possible. I can be flexible with hours and always open to learning more with opportunities that come my way. I would like to work more with just one or two families and focus on one or two children. It helps me be able to build a good relationship with the child, rather than only seeing a child a few times a week. I love children and making them smile, sing songs, do social sensory routines and keep it as fun as possible!
