Hi! My name is Stacie. I'm a 46 year old Mom of 1 beautiful Daughter and a grandmother to 2 Handsome Grandsons. I Love being a Care Giver, to people and animals. Most recently I was a Veterinary Technician, before that I took care of my Grandmother. She needed assistance but was not ready to move and lose her freedom and independence. So I stepped in to keep her in her home and keep her independence and freedom but was there when needed. Cook, clean, bathe, dress, all occasionally. Loved every minute of it. Just knowing she was happy made all the difference to me. I was happy. I also controlled all of her medications making sure they were correct and taken on time. I also made sure when getting up or down into her wheelchair, her brakes were ON! (she was bad at remembering)
Unfortunately she passed away and I miss caring for people in need but not ready to give up their independence.
