Hi my name is Pamela and I go by Pam. I took care of my parents for 3 years. Until they passed away. I fix meals for them. Took them to doctor appointments. My mother had dementia and did not know where she was some times. I had to make sure she ate and took her medicine everyday. Get her dress in morning and take her for walks. With my father I had to make sure he ate and take up to the VA for his appointments.After my parents passed away I took care of my mother in law. She was not able to walk. When she came home from the hospital after a stroke she could not do anything. I had to feed her bath her. It took me 3 weeks to get her to feed her self. We did leg exercises every day to see if she could walk again. After 2 years of taking care of her she passed away. So as you can see I have done a lot of care for older people.
