A very kind family of 4 in Encino is searching for a part time Nanny/Family Assistant! They are hoping for a long-term commitment, ideally 2+ years and the start date is flexible for the right person!
The schedule will be Mondays 2:30pm-7pm and Tuesday through Friday 2:30pm-6:30pm (guaranteed.) The pay being offered is $35 per hour with standard paid time off and a modest healthcare stipend. Mom works from home and is hoping to find a tag team partner to help with her busy kids, ages 11 and 13!
The family has two very friendly labradoodles (must love dogs!) Please be experienced with tweens and teens (5+ years of professional childcare experience required), organized, outgoing, proactive, and fun! A “take-initiative” person who will find ways to be helpful during down time. Must have current (in-person) CPR/FA certification, a clean driving record (car provided for on-the-job driving), and a clean criminal background. Also, legal authorization to work in the US is required.
The duties include a lot of driving to and from school/activities, meal preparation (please be comfortable cooking), grocery shopping, errand running, organizational projects, tidying (after the children) and occasional children’s laundry. Their daughter is an actress, so familiarity with that field to help her prepare for auditions is a plus! Their current nanny has a great relationship with her, they have a special friendship (but she also knows when it is time to enforce boundaries.)
