Bright, funny 12 year-old non verbal boy with physical disability seeking equally bright and creative part time nanny and aide to help at home , camp And at school classes . He is adorable and super sweet, but cannot walk or talk. He would need someone strong who can lift him (100 lbs) for transfers ( you don't have to deadlift him, he can assist, but you do need to be pretty strong) and who can change diapers too. We are looking for someone and who is loving, affectionate and high energy. And able to engage him in a meaningful way. Tasks include integrating disabled student into all aspects of the regular education classroom, facilitating learning and social interactions. Must be a pro-active self starter who can devise fun activities for a child with motor and verbal delays. He LOVES music.. so any musicality is a plus! Knowing your way around an iPad is also important. A car is necessary! He has 3 different caregivers who take different shifts so I can be quite flexible about days and to start it would likely be an afternoon shift, 2 -6;30 ish. Hope to hear from you!
