We are seeking an experienced nanny, preferably full-time (M-F, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm), from April/May to September to help take care of our 1 year old daughter. The exact start and end dates are flexible. This position may be extendable depending on how our daughter responds to at home care. We live in a quiet neighborhood of East Glastonbury. We don’t have any pets.
The duties for her nanny will include:
1. Warming up and serving her food (we will prepare her food and store it in fridge)
2. Getting her to sleep (two naps a day)
3. Arranging indoor activities that help her develop language, cognitive, and motor skills
4. Bringing her outdoors if it is not raining.
5. Ensure her safety while she explores the house (she is learning to stand up and walk, but is quite wobbly. The house is mostly child proofed).
