Nanny Kate & Co. is seeking a full-time Nanny for a family in Jamaica Plain with two boys, ages 12 months and 5, starting anytime from now to May 6th. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:30pm, with 45 guaranteed hours weekly. The family would love to find a nanny looking for a minimum 2 year commitment (hopefully longer!).
As the primary care will be for their toddler most days, a great match for this role brings experience working with that age group; someone caring, thoughtful, intuitive, scheduled, loving, warm, and playful. Their 5-year-old is curious, active, and social and would love a nanny who will get on the floor and play and actively engage with him while also coming up with fun and creative ideas for activities and play. The family is walkable or a close drive to many child-focused activities so a nanny who loves planning outings and fun adventures would be ideal!
A nanny who brings a positive attitude and outlook to the day with patience, good communication, and a collaborative mindset, will be a great match for this family.
The Nanny will be responsible for picking up the 5-year-old from school daily plus driving both children to various activities so a safe driver with a clean driving record is required. There is a family vehicle available for the nanny to use during working hours so a personal vehicle is not required, but a license is.
The family has no pets. One parent works outside of the home and one parent works a hybrid schedule with a dedicated home office.
Compensation: $33/hour with an optional healthcare stipend. Paid vacations, paid holidays, and paid sick time, with all pay on the books through payroll.
