Nanny Kate & Co. is seeking a full-time Nanny and Household Manager for a family in Weston, starting anytime from mid-May to early June. Their wonderful nanny of 4 years has decided to retire and they would love to find another long term match!
Care will be after school for two children, ages 7 and 9. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 12-7pm, with 35 hours guaranteed weekly. The summer schedule is 11am-6pm.
While this is a hybrid role, and household management is a vital component of the day, the most important thing for this family is that the children are loved, supported, and cared for. A great match for them is someone thoughtful who will expand upon and take an active interest in their interests; a nanny that is collaborative with the parents, communicative, friendly, warm, and active, who will engage the children in fun activities, such as Legos, reading, arts and crafts, board games, imaginative play, and sports. The children love outings so a nanny who will proactively plan trips to the library, museums, parks, etc. would be great!
As a household manager, if someone thrives in an environment where they can take ownership of the role and be independent, self-directed, and intuitive, this would be a good match for them! Some highlights of responsibilities include: healthy meal prep and cooking for the children and family, family laundry, grocery shopping, running errands, keeping to a schedule/coordinating activities, and general household support.
Driving the children to various activities throughout the week is part of this role. Must be a safe driver with a clean driving record. A family car is available to use.
Both parents work from home in dedicated offices.
Compensation: $35/hour with an optional healthcare stipend. Paid vacations, paid holidays, and paid sick time offered with all pay on the books through payroll.
