Hi! My husband and I are looking for a nanny to care for our kids. We have a 4 month old who will be the primary responsibility and a 2.5 year old who attends school full time (8:30-3:30). We also have 2 friendly and sleepy pets - a cat and a dog.
We are looking for a caring, capable person who will feel like family. This person will be tasked with caring for our happy, easy-going baby and make sure he meets his developmental milestones, transitions to eating solids (at around 6 months) and learns good sleep habits (schedule, sleeping on his own, etc.). We would also expect some help around the house as it pertains to the kids (only when he is napping), including bottle/food prep, laundry, cleaning toys/play areas, etc.
We are located in Paulus Hook, Jersey City. Our desired schedule is 8:30 or 9 to 5 or 5:30. Ability to be flexible and occasionally stay later (with advance notice) would be much appreciated.
