We have a great family in Princeton in search of a Full Time Companion - Family Assistant for their one child age 16. June 1 Start Long term, multiple years into the future.
Weekend help- the family has a rotating schedule of caregivers so the weekends aren't consistent (usually 2 full weekends on, 2 full weekends off, and then usually 1 weekday off, but the family can be flexible)
Flexibility on the caregiver end is very important
Requirements: Local driving required in the family car
Mom travels with her son a few times a year- travel is optional, and not requiredMom's schedule is very unpredictable, mostly at home. Family has a cat.
Ideal: Nanny- physically active, sports minded is a HUGE asset for this family
Someone who can hop in the pool and swim with him, shoot hoops, etc.
Experience with autistic children is a huge plus, but not required
The family is involved in Autism programs and it could be a huge asset to someone whose focus long term is in autism care (there is an option for "supervised hours" that many students in BCBA programs would need)
