Hi there, we are two parents and one 5 month old baby. Dad works outside home. Mom is on maternity leave, with part time school. I (the mom) have a mix of things to do in and out of the home. Some childcare help would go a long way. I / we are trying to figure out how many hours that would look like.

Infant care: milk, burping, diapers. Playing with baby / reading to him. They say babies should hear a large volume of words spoken per day. So basic health and hygiene with further enrichment in mind. And fun! He has recently learned to smile and laugh more. Possible nap or bedtime routines depending on schedule.

We don’t know our exact schedule preferences yet. We did Mon-Fri from 1-5pm with previous babysitter (who was great! Had other opportunity come up). With the right future person, open to some schedule flexibility for that sitter’s needs. We might become more specific though in time. Longer hours an option as well.
