A family in Nashville is seeking a newborn care specialist for their sweet 5-month-old baby girl to start ASAP. The contract term will be approximately 6 weeks, with the option to extend. This is a 7 day per week, live-in position with days/time off based on the family's needs. The average schedule will be from 6am to 9pm Monday to Sunday. The family is willing to work with the candidate if more or less hours are required. This role is open to local and non-local candidates.
Responsibilities include prioritizing the safety and well-being of the baby at all times, providing practical tools to enable the parents to keep baby on schedule during the day, preparing purees when it's time to start introducing foods, engage baby during the day and encourage development through age-appropriate activities, accompany the family on travel, provide recommendations on items for the nursery and baby, and light housekeeping related to baby and oneself
Requirements include A minimum of at least 5 years' verifiable experience working as a newborn care specialist, Excellent communicator, Strong stamina, Flexibility with last minute schedule changes, Ability to work collaboratively with parents, having a US passport, Green Card, or EAC, being COVID vaccinated and up to date on Flu/RSV/Tdap and MMR, Passport ready and willing to travel domestically or internationally, and Available to start ASAP
