A sweet Seattle Family of 3 is looking for a full-time caregiver for their soon-to-be born baby starting April 2024. This will be minimum 1 year contract with the potential to extend it by another 6 months if it's a great match. Care will be needed Monday-Friday: 9am-5pm for the younger kid. While the older child is in school from 8:30 AM until 3pm, the family asks you to watch the toddler every day from 3-5 with a goal to create a bond between the siblings.
Responsibilities beyond typical childcare duties will include: light housework such as doing laundry for both the kids, light meal prep for family dinners and unloading the dishwasher. The nanny will also be responsible for preparing meals for the toddler every day with some occasional pick up from day care, so family is expecting the candidate to have a clean driving record. Family has no pets, and live in a non-smoking home.
The ideal fit will be an extension of their family and should be willing to take-charge and pick up where parents leave off. The position will pay $27-$30 /hr DOE and will come with holidays and sick time benefits. Pay will be on the books.
