Hi Families! I’m Bre (pronounced Br-ee). I am originally from California but my career as a nanny has moved me to various states including Hawaii, Colorado and now Alabama! I have been a career nanny 9 years but have worked with children for 15 years. I have worked with children ages 1month old - 14 years old. The amount of children I have been responsible for watching at one time is 5 (between ages 8 months & 11 years old). I am big on limiting screen time with children I watch and encourage crafts or other creative activities to assist with their development. I also enjoy making the family’s life easier by managing day to day household work, running errands like grocery shopping & assisting with travel plans or other personal tasks.

Working with children brings me joy. I grew up taking care of my younger cousins. I have experience working at two different childcare jobs, and I was a nanny for a summer. I am a very patient, understanding person, who loves to take care of and have fun kids!

I am 21 years old and I grew up with 7 younger brothers and 4 younger sisters. I've grown up in a house full of kids so I am used to the excitement and messes of children. I have babysat for years when my parents were busy or at work. I also babysat a few other kids after I turned 15, one which was the sweetest little boy I've ever met. He did have autism and it was a little tricky to always make him happy but I tried the best I could and we always had a great time. I currently live on my own so I am capable of cooking, cleaning, doing laundry or running errands. I plan on having children of my own within the next few years so I would love to get as much experience as I can with other kids. Although I have a lot of siblings and that should be enough experience, not every kid is the same. I would love to be able to help parents as much as I can because I know when I become one I'm gonna need that help sometimes too.

I've always been the "mamma bear" in the group and now I'm pregnant with my first child. We/re having a boy in December! I'm still small and have plenty of energy. I'm 25 and have worked mostly in hospitality. I consider myself fun and free-spirited however, rules are rules and sometimes priorities are clean up or dinner time over busting out the toy collection. I love babies, toddlers, young kids. I'm still a kid at heart! I have a medium sized Toyota SUV and have a squeaky clean driving record. Last year, I nannied for a one year old over the summer and drove her from daycare to home and made her meals and put her down for bed. Prior to that I cared for a 4 year old boy whom I did pretty much the same thing for. I've also babysat throughout high school. I could use the practice for my little one!
