Hi I’m Cortlyn. I moved to AL from TN about a year ago and I’ve been loving it so far. I have the sweetest dog in the world. I am 26 and have worked with kiddos for 7 years in daycare/afterschool/summercamp settings. I also have an 8 year old sister that I’ve helped raise. I have 3 nieces I visit several times a year. In addition, both my bosses bring their 1 yr olds to work with them often. Due to my experience, I help keep the babies happy and entertained while they work. Activities I enjoy doing with children… I’ve spent several years working summer camp programs so I love finding fun things to go do outside. Going to the park, blueberry picking, swimming etc. Inside activities can always be just as fun with some imagination. Arts & crafts, hide and seek, classic board games, and many more. The most important part about being a nanny… The most important part about being a nanny to me would be keeping the children safe at all times. Also helping them grow and learn is very important to me. It is so fascinating to watch children figure things out on their own at such a young age.

I love being a sitter because I love kids, I love taking care of others peoples kids because it teaches me how I will be when I decide to have kids of my own. My experiences is that I have babysat my neighbors kids, I also tutored kids with or without learning disabilities with subjects they were having trouble with from school, my skills include that I am an arts and crafts person, I can cook and clean, I can multitask, I am patient, I can swim, very caring, I like video games and all games, and an understanding person. I think kids teach me as much as I can teach them. I also babysit animals.

My name is Jasmine and I am 27-years-old. I am a single mother of a 6-year-old son named Jaydin. When Jaydin was 2, he was diagnosed with level 3 autism, global developmental delay, sensory sensitivities and has concerns of inattentive adhd. I earned my CDA Credential in March of 2023 and have had my First-Aid/CPR certification since 2020. I am entering my 5th year as an Early Head Start Teacher and have worked for a licensed childcare center since 2019. While growing up, I would babysit for friends and family and when I entered high school, I volunteered to work with special needs students.
