All my life i’ve been jokingly called a “mama” by my family because of how much I enjoy caring for children. Since I was about 12 years old, I have babysat for children between the ages of 3 months and 5 years. I have had various types of positions over the past six years including volunteer work, babysitting, and nannying. Over the course of time I have earned certificates and gained some experience in various fields. I have my drivers license and a car, I have had CPR training in the past, and I have experience cooking and cleaning. I do not smoke or drink. I am completely comfortable with, and really love, pets! Lastly, my hourly wages are extremely flexible based on hours, daily responsibilities, and the number of children I will be responsible for.

Hi, my name is Mary Beth! I am a senior college student and will graduate in May with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. My aim is to be a Child Life Specialist and will hopefully start graduate school next spring to continue pursuing this goal! I have been babysitting and nannying since I first got my drivers license when I was 16! I am now 21 and can say I have worked with children of all ages! My experiences range from nannying one singular child to nannying 4 children at a time. I have taken care of multiple sets of twins and even two sets of twins at one time. Aside from nannying I have been an assistant preschool teacher for almost two years. This was an amazing experience because it helped me learn about feeding, toileting and other essentials when taking care of young children. In Summer 2025 I was a camp counselor for children who had muscular dystrophy. This taught me a great amount of skills when working with children who have special needs. Currently, I am an intern for an organization that helps children and their families that are facing childhood cancer. I go to our children's hospital weekly and engage in activities with the oncology and hematology patients. I also am substitute teaching at local schools. This has helped me engage more with school-age children and has given me the ability to be able to help more with homework! Although I am not currently CPR certified this is something I plan to obtain in the next couple of months! I love being a sitter or nanny because fostering young minds is so important and I love being able to be a small impactful part of their lives! I take pride in being energetic and bringing joy to children's lives! I am excited to see what I can bring to other families in the future as well!

I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy working with children and being a positive, dependable presence in their lives. I find it rewarding to help kids feel safe, supported, and cared for while also giving parents peace of mind. Watching children learn, grow, and express their personalities makes this work meaningful to me. I have experience caring for children of different ages through babysitting, coursework, and hands-on learning. I’ve helped with daily routines such as meals, bedtime, playtime, and supervision. I’ve also completed coursework in child growth and development, which included caring for a simulated infant that required around-the-clock attention, helping me build responsibility, patience, and problem-solving. I am patient, attentive, and reliable, with a strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate care. I’m skilled in maintaining routines, engaging children in safe and fun activities, and responding calmly to challenges. My background in psychology and child development helps me understand children’s emotional and behavioral needs, and I always prioritize safety, communication, and trust.

I am a caring, dependable, and energetic caregiver with hands-on experience working with children in cheer daycare and lifeguarding settings. I am comfortable supervising children in active environments and understand how to balance fun with structure and safety. Through my experience in cheer daycare, I have helped guide young children through basic cheer skills, organized age-appropriate activities, and encouraged teamwork, confidence, and positive behavior. My background in lifeguarding has strengthened my ability to stay alert, respond quickly in emergencies, and prioritize children’s safety at all times. I am patient, attentive, and enjoy building trusting relationships with both children and parents. I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn and grow. I would bring a responsible, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach to caring for your children as a nanny.

Hi families!! My name is Makena, and I’m currently seeking a live-in summer nanny position before I begin law school this fall. I recently graduated from The University of Alabama with a degree in International Studies and Spanish, and I’m looking for a role where I can be fully engaged, active, and supportive within a family environment. I have several years of consistent nanny experience, working with families throughout college and continuing now with families in Alabama. I’ve cared for children ranging from toddlers to elementary-aged, often managing multiple children at once while maintaining a structured, positive, and engaging routine. I naturally connect with kids of different personalities and energy levels, and I prioritize creating an environment where they feel safe, supported, and genuinely enjoy their time. In addition to nannying, I served as the Assistant Director of a children’s camp at a country club for two years, where I supervised groups of children, planned daily activities, and managed schedules. This role strengthened my ability to multitask, stay organized, and lead with both patience and energy. I also have experience as an elementary ESL tutor (K–5th grade), helping students build confidence academically while adapting to their individual learning styles. I am very comfortable with day-to-day household support, including meal prep, maintaining routines, organizing activities, helping with homework, running errands, and assisting with general household management. I understand the importance of being both a reliable caregiver and a proactive, helpful presence in the home. I’m also bilingual in English and Spanish, which allows me to connect with children in a unique and meaningful way and support language development if desired. I truly love working with children—not just supervising them, but investing in their growth, confidence, and happiness. I bring a calm, positive energy into the home, and families can count on me to be dependable, communicative, and fully present. I would love the opportunity to support your family this summer and become a meaningful part of your children’s daily lives!

Hi! I’m Kate, a 23-year-old living in the Huntsville area. I’m married and have several years of babysitting experience from my teens and college years. I’ve always loved spending time with kids and creating a positive, fun environment where they feel comfortable and supported. I enjoy keeping kids active and engaged! Whether that’s playing outside, doing crafts, reading stories, helping with homework, or coming up with creative games. I also love music and enjoy sharing that with kids through singing, rhythm games, or simple instruments if they’re interested. Parents I’ve worked with have always appreciated that I’m dependable, patient, and easy to communicate with.
