Hi! I’m Dasia, a reliable, caring, and patient childcare provider with experience working with children as a substitute teacher. I also have a background as a Medical Assistant and am CPR certified, so your child’s safety and well-being are always a top priority for me. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children, keeping them engaged, helping with homework, preparing meals, and creating a fun and comfortable environment where they feel safe and cared for. I’m dependable, responsible, and attentive to each child’s individual needs and personality. Whether you need occasional babysitting, date-night care, after-school care, or help while you’re at work, I’d love the opportunity to help make your life a little easier while providing your child with the care and attention they deserve. 💕

Hello. My name is Saundra Grimes. I am a mom of 3 adult children and I was a stay at home mom for over 20 years. My most recent job ended yesterday. I took care of a 2 year old and 5 year old. I worked for them for 2 years. The oldest started kindergarten and the youngest they thought would benefit from being around other kids. I loved the kids and the family, so it was hard for that one to end. The job I had prior to the last one I worked for 4 years. I did a lot for them. I cooked breakfast and lunch and meal-prepped dinner. I got them up and dressed and bathed if needed. I dropped them off at school and picked them up from school and took them to afterschool activities. I helped with homework and projects. They moved to Dallas. My first and most rewarding job I worked for about 3 years. The little girl had Down syndrome and had a feeding tube for most of the time I worked for them. I taught her sign language which we both learned from signing time videos. She was a special little girl. While I worked for them, she had tonsil surgery and tubes put in her ears. She also had heart surgery. She was a trooper and did very well after each surgery. I enjoyed my jobs very much and I am currently looking for another nanny job.

I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy being a part of children’s growth and development. I’ve always been around children through family, volunteer work, and my professional experience, so creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment comes naturally to me. I enjoy building connections with kids, helping them learn new things, and making sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and happy. I currently work as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and have about a year of experience working with children with developmental disabilities and behavioral needs. I’ve worked in ABA clinic settings with children of different ages and personalities, helping with communication skills, social skills, transitions, play activities, and daily routines. In addition to my professional experience, I also have experience babysitting and caring for children through daycare, family and personal opportunities. I have experience in behavior management, communication support, social skill development, and creating engaging activities for children. As an RBT, I’ve been trained to remain patient, attentive, and adaptable in different situations while maintaining a positive and structured environment. I am also currently a college student majoring in Psychology and working toward furthering my education and career in child care and therapy.

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, authentic, and gritty. I started working with kids in 2007 . In my spare time, I like to hike, visit museums, swim, camp, read/ listen to music, and cook. My skills include newborn and toddler-teen care, special needs, allergies, overnights, and date nights. As well as helping keep the household organized so you can focus on your sweet little one(s) when you get home. I'm looking for a job(s) that encourages times outdoors and in the community to mix up experiences and routines. As a previous lifeguard, water safety is essential and and I teach it in a fun and inviting way. I also do petcare, housesitting, plant care, errands, deliveries, meal prep, etc..
