I have always loved caring for other kids, even when I was a kid myself. I come from a big, loud family with lots of pets, so I handle chaos well. I am an actor and theater maker in the time I am not caring for children, so I love imaginative games and goofing off with my kids. I graduated from the University of Chicago with a degree in theatre and I'm currently working on my MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts through a low residency program out of Goddard College in Vermont. I encourage reading, critical thinking, and creativity in my kids and am always willing to help with homework. I spent a lot of time in college tutoring kids in 3rd-8th grades so I have experience figuring out how different children learn and helping them accomplish different goals. In addition to my experience with elementary aged kids, I have worked for families with newborns and multiples, so my skills cover all ages of children. I have worked as a personal assistant, housekeeper, and pet caretaker in addition to a babysitter and nanny.
