Hi families, I’m a graduated nurse from Brazil, just finished my Au Pair program in US, I was an Au Pair for 2 years. I’m vaccinated, CPR and first aid certified. I also took Nursing Assistant classes here in US. I also provide mom’s helper (laundry, dishes, organizing, chopping vegetables etc), pet care and house sitting, besides childcare (separate rate). I’m an experienced driver (9+ years and clean record), love pets and 100% comfortable with any of them. Open to add cook if needed and light cleaning for additional cost. I’m currently available all for part time gigs or 1 full day a week. Open to negotiate full time gigs.

The last three summers I’ve been a camp counselor in Arizona and loved it! My favorite days at camp were swim days, I used to be a swimmer and the pool was fun for the kids. From this experience, I learned a lot more from my campers than I expected to. For instance, on a trampoline field trip, a bunch of my campers taught me to front flip (I didn’t have much say in the matter but I’m still glad they encouraged me) I am first aid/CPR certified as well and have experience with children who have disabilities. I have a sister with a disability (CDLS) and grew up helping take care of her. In Arizona I received article 9 training and have a finger print card. I currently go to college in California and am working towards being a nurse practitioner.

For me it is a joy to interact and play with children and to help them explore their world. I like to spend time getting to know them and really understand who they are inside. For me it is important to spend meaningful time with them where I encourage them to learn in a positive, safe, healthy and fun way. I honestly believe that kids are the greatest gift of life, they need to be loved and to be listened to. Also, they need positive attention to help them grow healthy, spiritually, mentally, and physically. They require an enormous amount of patience -- it pays off in so many ways. I love to work with parents who understand that they need to spend time with their children but who are busy with their professional lives. This is where I work with the parents to come up with a plan so you as a parent can spend the quality time with your children and allow me to manage the day to day activities when you are unable to spend time with them.

We travel 3 to 4 times a year and are gone 2 to 4 weeks at a time.
