I have been a nanny/babysitter for newborns, infants, toddlers, preschool age and elementary school age children for more than a decade. I have multiple experience. I love taking car of children because they remind me of my experience raising my grandsons from birth to school age. My nanny/babysitter job started when my first grandson was born. I retired early from my role as a Payroll Analyst at UCLA Medical Center Financial Services to care for my grandsons (now 9 and 11) when they were born. For seven years, I was their primary caregiver (my daughter and son-in-law are both busy attorneys). I nurtured, played with, cared for, and educated my grandsons in every way, including taking them to enrichment activities and planning every aspect of their day. Both of my grandsons were reading by 3 years old. From potty-training , to baths, tennis practice, swimming classes, to zoo trips, to playdates and then eventually to school drop-offs, pickups and homework supervision, I did it all with great joy. It would be my pleasure to bring the same joy, kindness and care to your child(ren). I was also a full time nanny for a nine months old baby girl from April 2022 - June 2024. I have been occasionally babysitting for three families from 2021 to present. I plan the day to day activities for children in my care. Just to mention a few of the activities I do with babies in my care, I take them to the local library programs; read at least once during the day and at nap and bedtime; potty training; prepare meals and snacks; playdates; birthday parties; playground; a walk in the neighborhood. We have drawing, painting, coloring and writing activities. I plan birthday parties and attend mummy and me two hour classes with baby.
