Hi, I lead a life focused on creating a positive atmosphere for both myself and those around me. I would consider myself reserved, yet in the right environment my bubbly side shines through. I would consider myself a busy body so schedules and organization have always been a big part of my life. I love to clean and in most cases find it relaxing. Thanks to my mom I love to cook and have a lot of experiences with easy meals that are super delicious. I have a lot of experience working with kids and find that they bring out the bubbly side in me the most. I have experience working as an intern at Pilgrims Preschool from 2018 to 2019. From this, I was able to learn fun activities and the proper ways to teach children from ages 2-4. From 2014-2020 I also volunteered in my church nursery, working with kids ages 0 to 2. I believe teaching and playing through art and nature is a major step in the personal growth of children! During my first nanny job I was responsible for caring for a 1yr old, 3 yr old and 5yr old. I was responsible for getting them dressed and cooking breakfast in the morning. I would then pack snacks and the diaper bag for the days adventure. After the park I cooked lunch and nap time started. During nap time I would clean and do laundry as well as organize anything the parents needed me to. I was also responsible for organizing the children’s schedule as well as looking after the children’s fabulous 99yr old great grandmother. More recently I worked for a 18month and 3yr old (now 3 and 5) and I was their nanny for a year till I started my college journey but I still babysit them frequently and consider them family! My last nanny job was for 8month old twins (now 22 months) and I was with them for over a year part time but I am now moving and I will miss them so much! Hi my name is Ashley! I have 16+ years experience with children of all Ages. I have my CPR/AED& FIRST AIDE CERTIFICATE. I started out as a babysitter at 14 and got a job at TLC, an after school daycare program and was working there at the age of 16. We would take the children during the summer to amusement parks like wild rivers, Knottsberry farm, Sea world, Disneyland, movie theaters and etc... so it was a lot of patience and responsibility to make sure they were safe and having fun at the same time. I absolutely loved it . After working at TLC I was offered a nanny job by one of the parents. I watched the children for a while and then they grew up like all children do hehehe I then went on to nanny after that for a three and six-year-old and just kept being a nanny. It is a non-profit Organization working with children that have special needs and children without any special needs.. the ages range from1& a half all the ways to 23 years old. We worked on behavior, taking turns, helping children that are non-verbal speak and we do a lot there and the parents instead of calling it an actual gym they call it a gem... so sweet. I also work as Respite care taker for special needs but the hours are on my terms. I am looking mostly for a Full-time position as a nanny or also it could be maybe 2 part-time jobs. I have been working with kids since I was 12, first training as a mother's helper, then becoming the neighborhood babysitter, then nannying. As a nanny I worked for homeschool families as their teacher, a caretaker for a special needs child, overnight for a nurse, and the longest nannying gig I had was 7 years.
