Hi there. I have loved children my whole life. Majoring in Human Development at UC Davis was an easy decision for a career path. I began teaching preschool after graduation, then worked for a few years at as lay counselor at a non-profit. I stayed home for a number of years to raise my two sons; I am so grateful to have wonderful relationships with both of them. I began working again as a preschool teacher, the, transitioned to being a nanny and family assistant. I have fourteen years of experience with two families. One of my greatest strengths is being intentional about the relationships I have with people -personal and professional. I am kind and respectful toward others and I am intentional about teaching that to children. I nurturing and intuitive, but also analytical and driven by a desire to always be learning. My name is Pauline Kavanagh I am a wife to a wonderful husband and a 11 year old daughter. I was a personal assistant for the last 15 years in Atherton and in that time the family welcomed 2 girls. I enjoy babysitting because all my life I’ve baby sat my siblings, cousins, and nieces and nephews. So as I have gotten into doing it I’ve loved it more and more getting to know each of their little personalities and being able to watch them be their own creative self.
