Hello! I’m glad to have the opportunity to present myself! I graduated as an early childhood teacher and also experienced teaching and taking care of children and teenagers of all ages. I appreciate being around kids, exchanging experiences and sharing. It’s always fun! For me, being a childcare provider makes me feel like I’m making a difference in the kid’s life, adding to them by giving them attention, showing them they deserve to be loved, respected and taken care of. I have worked for over 15 years as a babysitter and tutor in residential homes. As a babysitter and mommy assistant I have gained countless hours of experience working with children ages 1 to 7. Working with such large numbers of young children has taught me a lot about care taking. During this time I have also held mommy helper positions for families with children of all ages. I regularly babysit for a family with 4 children all under the age of 8, as well as a family with a preteen-aged children. I have also babysat for numerous other families over the past 6 years. Additionally, I have a 6-year-old and 12 year old step brothers with fetal alcohol syndrome who I have helped to take care of and babysit throughout their therapy and life.
