I was an elementary assistant classroom educator for 2 years and loved my role as an educator. My passion for child education and care started in high school. I volunteered at the Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library, in the children's department. I love improving children's reading, writing, and artistic abilities. As well, I volunteered with the Nicholas Foundation's organization, Kick with Nick. This organization is to give acknowledgment and appreciation to children on the autism spectrum. A little bit about me... Hi, my name is Christina; simply love children and enjoy helping them learn and grow at every stage of their young lives. I always make sure to have some kind of craft or activity planned to keep the kids active throughout the day. I have made slime(Glue, water, and borax) for them along with many play dough activities. I try to make each activity educational as well by having early school age children spell things out with whatever material we are using for the activity planned. I have over 14 years of experience with childcare "under my belt". I was a volunteer in our church nursery for about 10 years and through our ministry found families to babysit for. Through all these years I have looked after children of all ages from 5 weeks old to about 12 years old. In addition to sitting for members of our church, I have also babysat for two of my doctors and a few police officers who are close family friends. I have had experience with autistic children, children with ADD/ADHD, and children with ODD.
