I have worked in caring for kids for about five years now and have cared for children of all ages. Such as infants to teenagers. I was previously a summer camp leader with the city of Buena Park where I would care for a group of 10-12 kids. As a camp leader we planned games and crafts for the children between the ages 5-11. Every week we would have to plan different activities with a set theme each week. I also went on field trips with our groups for example some locations were the beach, big air, universal studios, etc. Due to my experiences I am very knowledgeable in managing children's safety and their needs under stressful situations. I am 38, a Licensed Vocational Nurse and I currently work as a Hospice Nurse but previously I was a pediatric home health nurse. When I lived in the Bay Area, I was a nanny for multiple families. I worked at a day care in Redwood City where the children ranged from newborn-3 years old. We did arts/crafts, learning exercises, reading stories, play tummy time, scheduled feedings, and of course nap time. I did referee youth basketball (8 -13 yrs old) and also coached pee wee basketball (4-7 yrs old), and Parks and Rec youth baseball (7-10 years old).
