Hi! My name is Mia, and I’m 19 years old. I’m currently in my second year of college, majoring in Child and Adolescent Development. I’ve worked with kids ages 4 to 15 through my role at the YMCA, and I also have experience babysitting children and infants of all ages. I’m a calm, patient sitter — but also a big kid at heart. I love playing, engaging in creative activities, and learning each child’s unique personality. I’m certified in First Aid and CPR, and I’m extremely passionate about working with children. I love doing seasonal crafts, baking, pretend play, encouraging independent time, and special weekly outings when appropriate. I’m firm but kind, and will work with you on any challenges your child may come to. Also I work hospice in the hospital I work in so I have 2+ years in experience with seniors and how to properly care for them.
