Hello! My name is Joanna, I’m 27 years old and I’m excited to meet your little one(s). I would describe myself as attentive, caring, and very silly. I like to make arts and crafts, play board games, read, and enjoy nature. I’m able to help with homework and light house duties if needed. I’m CPR certified and I have a BLS. I have experience with children with disabilities. I’ve worked with children quite some time now, I started when I was 17 years old. I’ve worked with many different families (short term and long term). I’m very flexible with schedules and I’m comfortable with pets. I worked full time as a certified nursing assistant helping the elderly and nannying as a part time but I realized I enjoyed being a nanny more than my full time job. That is when I became a 1:1 aide at a school. I enjoy working with children because I love to see them learn and grow and they’re always such happy souls. Your children are guaranteed to be in good hands with me! :)

Hello! My name is Violet, and I have 8 years of childcare experience. I have been a nanny exclusively for about 4 years and have cared for kids of all ages, although my "specialty" is with younger ones! I love caring for infants, as I am currently working as a Postnatal Care Specialist, where I take care of newborns and freshly postpartum families. I have future goals of becoming an ultrasound technician. I show up every day with an open mind, empathy, patience, and a smile. I love to connect with everyone in the family. I also know a lot of baby sign because I am learning ASL, which can really help those younger ones greatly with their language skills!

Violet is an absolute joy! My kids love her and are always excited to her. She is VERY punctual, well-spoken and kind. She asks questions when she is unsure and respects all of our wishes. We could not recommend her more!

Nanny, Governess, Educator Warm and sunny as L.A., with NYC savvy, sophistication, and street smarts Bubbly and energetic, creative, long-time INT'L. career nanny, governess and educator, specializing in Language Arts (foreign languages, writing, public speaking) and Creative Arts (dance, drama), with a focus on nutrition-centered health. (I love cooking!) I am poised and presentable, but extremely down-to-earth and playful with a great sense of humor. I am confident and graceful at galas and country clubs, comfortable and joyful with my hands in the sandbox, fingerpaints, or homemade playdough! I can make a birthday cake that looks like your child and their favorite storybook characters or stuffies with just a plastic Ziploc bag. I can whip up an impressive costume with whatever is in the closet. I comfortably ride in cars with bulletproof windows and armed drivers, and comfortably ride the public transit. I have worked all over the world as nanny, governess, and ESL/English teacher (corporate sector, in-home, public and private schools including prestigious boarding schools serving high profile families). I have also taught children Italian and Spanish, and am a long-time dance instructor and children's theater professional. I practice yoga, and also hula-hoop, roller skate, bicycle, and swim. (I grew up in the desert and lived in the pool for heat survival!) I love trampoline, walking (especially as transportation), hiking, and being outdoors. I love singing and dancing with kids throughout the day, as well as cooking/baking, and creative expression via arts and crafts and storytelling. I enjoy volunteer work with chronically ill children, teaching them dance, drama, yoga, creative writing, and nutritional cooking. I have served other great organizations such as Special Olympics and Tunnel to Towers (serving the FDNY and US military families). I served at Ground Zero after the WTC attacks, an honor which allowed me to meet real-life heroes and learn about humility and humanity. I’ve been blessed with a richly diverse cultural experience, from inner city to royalty, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, and Hasidic homes (kosher experience), high profile clients, and stay-home moms. I understand cultural sensitivity, boundaries, discretion, security and confidentiality.

I had a paid trial with Melody and had a wonderful experience. I really appreciated her calm and engaging presence with my baby. She was attentive and patient, followed my 1 year old baby’s lead. She interacted with her in a gentle and engaging way, which made me feel at ease. I enjoyed the experience that I decided to move forward with Melody for a two-week temporary childcare arrangement. I’m looking forward to having her help us!

I am the ultimate babysitter because I am a mother myself! If anyone knows what kids love, It's me. I know how to cook, play pretend, play tag, hide and seek, visit the local swimming pool, swim, teach swimming, read favorite books, take lots of pictures, bird watch, go on day trips, visit museums, the zoo and the list goes on. Being a kid at heart really helps to connect with children. I rarely meet a child who doesn't like me!

We hired Elena to be a full-time nanny to our three month old son. From the start she was extremely professional, on-time, and brought major confidence with all of her past experience. We love her high energy and strong work ethic. She has given so much love and support to the family already. 10/10 recommend hiring Elena

JUSTIN C.
I have two younger children ages 4 and 6 and she has been fantastic. She has a lot of life experience with children and brings a very calm and confident approach to handling the children. With very little direction she quickly jumped into the flow of our morning routine and helps get the children up, fed, dress and drives them to school. She does multiple drop offs and I am very grateful that she is a very experienced driver. It was always a concern of mine that I would need to work with someone who could handle longer drives to multiple schools. I enjoy chatting with Teresa and am very thankful to be working with her.

Jessica has been an absolute blessing for our family. We were initially hesitant to trust anyone with our 21-month-old daughter, but Jessica's warm and nurturing nature immediately put us at ease. Her responsible and attentive approach to childcare is remarkable. She engages our daughter in creative activities, ensuring her safety and well-being at all times. Jessica's patience and genuine love for children are evident in the way she interacts with our little one. We now have complete peace of mind knowing that our daughter is in Jessica's capable hands. We wholeheartedly recommend her to any family seeking a trustworthy and loving caregiver for their child.

With over two decades of dedicated childcare experience, my career has evolved from teaching and administration to pediatric occupational therapy services, culminating in the last 9.5 years as a full-time professional nanny. This unique blend of developmental insight, administrative oversight, and educational expertise allows me to support families with a deeply informed, holistic approach. I am a strong advocate for respectful, structured, and child-led development. In my daily practice, I focus on: * Routine & Predictability: Establishing safe, clear boundaries using positive discipline strategies like the "two-options" method, redirection, and positive reinforcement. * Respectful Communication: Engaging with children clearly and authentically, treating them as capable, respected individuals. * Developmental Milestones: Supporting critical pillars of early growth, from sensory-rich play to practices like Baby-Led Weaning (BLW). A typical day with me includes a rich mix of reading, music, outdoor exploration, and art. Above all, I believe in following a child’s unique interests to foster a lifetime love for learning. For example, I once cared for a child who was fascinated by sanitation vehicles, so every garbage day, we turned our morning into an epic, neighborhood-wide "truck safari" that blended physical activity with cognitive learning! Children have a way of helping us see things we over look or in a completely different light. I bring expertise, enthusiasm, and peace of mind to the families I partner with, and I look forward to supporting yours.
