I have been working with children for 15 years. My first job with children was at a daycare, Seymour Family Childcare. Then, at Desert Recreation District. I currently work for a family Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday with 2 boys ages 2 and 4. I absolutely fell in love with this line of work. I had tried hospitality, insurance and administrative. However none of those made me as happy as working with children. I have worked with ages newborn to 12 years old. Along with childcare, I also provide home cleaning, cooking, errands, pets, etc. Anything you need to run a caring/clean household I can do it. I am fluent in English and Spanish, which does come in handy quite often. I am tidy and timely. I take instruction with ease and I’m glad to take any constructive advice or tips on how to do an even better job. As for my personality, I tend to be on the silly side. Which works out perfect when working with children. I love exploring, learning new things, taking care of my family, and a huge fan of Sci-fi (so of course Star Wars included). I love being a mom however that does not pay the bills so I hope to do the next best thing, which is to be a fun, caring nanny for a lovely family ?

I was sitting for another family for five years when Covid hit. When I started their son was eight months old. I cared for him one day a week until they put him into preschool. They had another baby boy that I started caring for a couple of months after he was born. They have four children that I sat with several times a month in the evening for their date nights. I have always love working with children. I started babysitting early on as a teenager. It wasn't until after becoming a mother I knew I wanted to become a teacher. My daughter was diagnosed with ADHD as a child and struggled in school. During grade school many of my daughters teachers lacked the information needed to help her manage her ADHD in the classroom. I graduated in 2022 with an AA in Early Childhood Education and an AA in American Sign Language. I want to make a difference as a teacher and be a positive role model to all children.
