Hi! My name is Bertha Sanchez, I’m currently a nursing student at PCC with ambitions of becoming a RN Pediatric Nurse. I love kids and want to provide better care for kids of all backgrounds with care and understanding. I’m offering child care and light household services while kids are asleep. I love all animals, personally I have 2 cats and 1dog. I love being a babysitter, I’ve been watching babies and toddlers since I was 15! I enjoy activities with kids like coloring, playing outside, reading and singing. With infants I love to put on music, and talking to them is essential for their development as well as plenty of love and attention. I’m always up for a challenge and to try new things! As of now I’m a pharmacy technician and a CNA(certified nursing assistant) although I’m still furthering my nursing career. -Basic Life Support provider certified through the American Heart Association -Hospital Fire and Life Safety certified through SureFire -CPR certified through SureFire

Teaching and working with children has always been a passion for me. Aside from wanting to be a Solid Gold dancer many, many moons ago, I always knew I wanted to become someone involved in bettering the minds and lives of children. Becoming a teacher seemed to be the answer for me. I was a preschool teacher for over 10 years, and was an in-home behaviorist, working with at-risk and developmentally delayed children. During my time as an educator, I have enjoyed every opportunity I had been given to be a part of each individual child’s life and to have had the privilege to see them grow into unique little beings. To be able to help each individual child reach their potential in all developmental levels and seeing them grow is something I feel privileged to be a part of. I look forward to being there to witness the many milestones your child will reach. Fun facts about me: I am family oriented and am a proud auntie!! I crave pizza about 325 days of the year. I like shopping and love finding out I get 40% additional off the sale price when I hit the register. I won an egg in a parachute contest during the 8th grade. Once in a while I Google myself to see what comes up. I am a neat freak. I used to collect baseball and basketball cards (the last I ever bought were 2 Grant Hill rookie cards). I once had 2 turtles named Ernie and Bert, but Ernie passed due to starvation because he moved too slow and Bert ate all the food. I believe a person's shoes say a lot about them. I like to LOL as much as I can. I cook a mean jambalaya. When I have time, I lose myself in movies, books or music. I love the arts and music. I am a freelance photographer. I go off on rambling tangents about myself before saying, "Oh, enough about me... "

I have a background in theater so I love being silly with children and helping to nurture their creative side! I also love being active outdoors and playing sports with the kids if that's what they're interested in. I'm a very open and easy-going person so I tend to connect with kids quickly. I have experience looking after children of all ages and I absolutely love making them laugh and have fun! I also have experience dealing with behavioral problems and I am more than capable of keeping them on a strict schedule if you like. I really enjoy teaching and I would absolutely tutor your kids if they need help with homework or just with classes in general. I'm responsible, caring, dependable, and excited to meet you and your family!

🌸My name is Alexandra and I'm interested in providing care for your family! 🌸I am transitioning out of my current childcare position so I currently I have availability on Thursdays and Fridays, am available to work November 20-30, and will be available 24-30 hours per week starting December 18. 🧡 I am loving, patient, and highly attentive to the needs of infants and know how make them feel comfortable and safe. I am proactive and attuned to when a baby needs feeding, sleep, a diaper change, a change of clothes, or a change in their environment. 🧡 I am passionate about child development and offer age-appropriate engagement and activities to stimulate their minds and help them develop healthy, secure attachments to caregivers so they can develop confidence and self-esteem. I empathize with children's feelings while upholding boundaries and rules. 🧡 My go-to activities are playing games, singing songs, and being silly. I allow children to naturally warm up to me, but ultimately I know how to connect and relate to them and allow them to feel seen and heard. 🌻 I received my Bachelor's Degree in 2014 from San Diego State University with a B.A. in Pscyhology. I have my Early Childhood Education (ECE) credentials that certify me as a licensed care-giver and pre-school teacher by the state of California. 🌻 I have a car, am a non-smoker, comfortable with pets, and am also okay with taking care of sick children and helping potty train. 🌻 I charge $30/hour and have many references that I am willing to provide. I am vaccinated and willing to run a background check. 🌻 Please message me if you'd like to chat and see how I can offer care for your family!

Hello! I’m glad to have the opportunity to present myself! I graduated as an early childhood teacher and also experienced teaching and taking care of children and teenagers of all ages. I appreciate being around kids, exchanging experiences and sharing. It’s always fun! For me, being a childcare provider makes me feel like I’m making a difference in the kid’s life, adding to them by giving them attention, showing them they deserve to be loved, respected and taken care of. People often give me compliments on how patient I am with kids, and I always answer with “that’s because I respect the kids’ time”. They have their own time, and why hurry them when they’ll have a whole adult life to do that? I enjoy every single part of being with kids, taking them places, listening to their stories, cooking with them, eating, chatting, doing crafts, reading stories… I feel privileged to have those gifts and to have the opportunity to be in a small part of children’s stories.

In my free time, I enjoy visiting museums, attending concerts, practicing yoga, and meditating. I'm comfortable with pets, as I have 3 of my own. I have my own transportation and am willing to travel up to 45 miles. My schedule is flexible, so whether you need a night out or extra time to run errands, I'm available to stay longer if needed.
