I have babysat for many families over the years - for kids of all ages. I absolutely adore not only taking care of kids but being able to provide them with a nurturing, interactive, safe yet fun environment. Most recently, I was a part-time nanny for a sweet one-year-old girl and took care of her three days a week. In addition to making sure she was well-taken care, I helped out with housework such as cooking, cleaning/tidying, organizing, laundry and more. I'm more than happy to do anything needed since I understand how hard it can be for a family to balance everything. To my sadness, they moved to Greece but, of course, I'm incredibly happy for them My experience ranges from caring for infants to caring for autistic children. I've also taken care of multiple kids at once - like a family with a 4, 3, 2 and 1-year old, for one example. I first became a nanny while studying at UCLA and helped raise a wonderful two-year-old girl in Bel Air. For the next three and half years, I helped raise her - 5 days a week. Every single day we engaged in interactive and imaginative play, explored outside and worked on growing her overall knowledge of the world. I also worked at introducing various basic concepts like kindness and original thinking. I grew up in a family of educators and spent many of my early years in my mother's and sister's classrooms helping their students. For me, every moment with a child is an opportunity to help expand their minds and grow as an individual. Post-UCLA and after another year of nannying, I left California to serve in the Peace Corps as an Education Volunteer in Burkina Faso, West Africa where I taught preschool in a rural village to over sixty-six children. I also taught English to high school-aged children and some adults on the side. After returning from the Peace Corps, I found myself back in Los Angeles where I started to teach again at a private preschool in West LA. It was a wonderful opportunity where I was able to plan and prepare incredible, creative lessons for my students. A little more about who I am - my passions include yoga, Ayurvedic medicine, herbalism and cooking. I'm also working on starting a small business so saving up for that. While I do not have any of my own children yet, I I absolutely love spending time with kids and truly enjoy encouraging them to embrace life to the fullest. To make a child smile and to feel valued is one of my greatest pleasures in life

Hello! I have enjoyed babysitting, nannying, caregiving, and mothering over the course of most of my life. I began as a teen in my neighborhood and continued caring for children part-time while in college and working other jobs, right up until I had children of my own. My husband and I have raised four children, now adults and have flown the coop. I sincerely miss children! They are such a joy, so funny, curious, authentic, and precious. Because it was always very important to me to remain available and involved, mothering/homemaking was my main job during my children's growing years (for which I have no regrets)! I also have experience with developmentally disabled children, as I formerly worked with Easter Seals and Nolan Services. Now that I'm a young "empty nester," I find myself wanting to be involved with children again. I value a healthy lifestyle, which includes cooking and eating nutritiously, exercising, gardening, spending time with friends, and learning new things. I recently ended a caregiving job with a lady with Parkinson's, but because of an injury respite from physically demanding work became necessary. Presently I care for children on a part-time basis and have room for more part-time childcare. I also have experience caring for animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, and smaller creatures. I'd be honored to come alongside you to help with the most important task of caring for your greatest asset, your children. I am also willing to include light housework, cooking, organizing, caring for plants and animals, assisting with schoolwork, and errands. Sincerely, Catherine

I have had the joy of being a nanny/babysitter for the last 4 years. During my time in childcare, I have cared for a variety of age groups, with a specialty in toddler care. I have been told that I am very warm and interactive with kids. Even the most shy children will be curious about playing with me! And since I live a very active lifestyle, I have no problem keeping with with energetic little ones. Staying at home with the kids and engaging in fun activities sits well with me, but I also do very well with an active schedule where we go on adventures in the community. In addition, I am CPR/First Aid certified, and I obtain a clean driving record.

Knowing that play is the best learning method and that playing is the best way to live, I'm someone convinced that the best way to learn and live is through play. With a background and involvement with children for many years thanks to my parents' businesses (kindergarten), I lived and learned through play, and that's when my passion for playing and interacting with children was born. Now, professionally, I've been working with children for about a year (4Cs Sonoma County) and to better develop my work, I have certifications: - First Aid - CPR Training - Mandated Report - California Food Handler - Teaching Pyramid - 3 units in Child Development Classes These courses and my daily work have given me the ability to understand, connect, and easily interact with children. 707-242-4147

I’m super close to having my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. I love children and have babysat many children, worked in multiple education programs at different age levels and even worked at a childcare that took place at a gym. My goal for children is for them to grow up strong, independent, smart (in their own way), and caring.

Hi! I'm a mom to two grown kids and am officially an empty nester! I decided to move from Los Angeles back to the Bay Area and have just settled in Petaluma. I’ve been working as a full time nanny for about ten years and was with my previous family for a year and a half. Ideally I’m looking for at least a year long position with a new family, preferably longer! I will be renewing my first aid/cpr certificate before I start a new position. I’m currently studying Spanish. I have experience with baby sign language, Montessori, RIE, sleep training and potty training. I love doing arts and crafts, reading, and nature walks with the kids. I love animals and do pet sitting for my friends, so I’m comfortable around (almost) all pets-just please don’t ask me to feed your tarantula. I’m obsessively on time and come with excellent references. I’m also comfortable with light housework, laundry, and cooking. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I can send my resume as well as letters of recommendation. Look forward to hearing from you!

Hello beautiful people of Sonoma county! I am a nanny at heart but I also love to do short term babysitting jobs as well. I am an extremely fun , responsible, reliable and I love working with kids ! I have always love to work with children since I was a child myself. I would post around neighborhoods with a piece of paper at 14 and eventually became my neighborhoods nanny! They were small and short times shifts, mostly dinner dates , covering parents appointments. Once I turned 16, I would work higher paying and longer jobs. From there I knew that I wanted to work with kids for the rest of my life! I am majoring in child development and will also apply for a teaching degree to be a kindergarten teacher! I currently am a full time manger at a pet store but I am looking for short time jobs to save money to see my grandmother in Hawaii! If your kiddo is with me for a short amount of time or even longer, I will make the day or days the happiest! I love to play board games, color, paint and also explore nature.

Children are my passion. You probably hear that a lot, but it's true. I have worked with children for most of my own life and I continue to enjoy watching them learn and grow. I do more than watch your children: I help them with their education, make sure they are safe and following the rules, respect them and value what they say, and have fun with them.
